MASCAR
Miniature American Stock Car Racing
MASCARs are 2/3 scale replicas of Winston Cup stock cars powered by Yamaha FJ 1200 or XJR 1300 (1250cc) motorcycle engines with lightweight fibreglass bodies of various styles including Chevrolet Monte Carlo, Ford Taurus, Ford Thunderbird and Dodge Charger
In the UK the cars race on short tarmac and concrete ovals ranging between 300 metres and 1/4 mile, with the occassional long track date. The controlled nature of the rules makes for close racing and keeps costs low
The cars are all largely identical making the racing highly competitive with plenty of side by side action and overtaking. Reverse grids are run to make the racing even more exciting with the Championship leader and other top drivers running from the rear of the grid giving everyone that race win opportunity
The #19 USA Stock Car Dodge Charger
USA Stock Car is proud to support the number 19 Dodge Charger in the 2010 MASCAR series. The car will be appearing in 2010 as a replica of the #19 Dodge Dealers Dodge driven by Elliott Sadler in the 2007 Cup Series
We hope to see you down at the tracks supporting this rapidly growing and exciting formula, the closest thing to NASCAR you can see in the UK
